Create at the 2008 LUYES Entrepreneurial Summit – 08/03/08

Lancaster University Young Entrepreneurs Society (LUYES) hosted the first Entrepreneurial Summit over the weekend 7th March – 9th March. Aiming to make links with other universities, and to have a good time LUYES played host to student representatives from over 14 universities including representatives from Belgium and France. There were workshops in the day and then trips to the Sugar House in the evening. Joseph Buglass of Create ran an Ideas Generation workshop for the attendees. Feedback was excellent and he received a number of invitations to run the workshop at other universities. Also running workshops was Emma Jones, Founder of Enterprise Nation, there to publicise her new book Spare Room Start Up. The event was a huge success concluding with a meal at the Lancaster House Hotel with Allan Kenny as the after dinner speaker.
