Enterprise in Heels
“A third of the female population would start a business if it weren’t for the fear of failure”
(Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, 2003)
We want to change this!
Enterprise in Heels has been designed to give the ladies of Lancaster University the confidence and basic tools for self-employment.
The events in Michaelmas and Lent term were huge successes, here’s what the students said about them:
“Fantastic and inspirational”
“Excellent program… It really did boost my confidence and optimism as I pursue career opportunities”
As well as the main event, students were given opportunities to meet and talk with various entrepreneurs, namely at the Pink Shoe Club enterprise debate in Parliament, and also at LUMS. Read more about their experiences here.
Read on for Summer term’s events…
